Tour of the Shop and Maker Space

The rooms know at Tam High as the Woodshop comprise 4000 square feet chock full of supplies and equipment. The slide show below inlcudes facilities woodworking as well as non-wood working maker activities. There is a lot of overlap.

Tam High students use different areas and equipment depending on which course they are taking. These courses include Construction Technology, Introduction to Engineering Design, Architectural Design and Art Exploration. In addition, some students come in independently of courses during tutorial period, after school, and at lunch time to work on personal projects or projects related to their other course work.

Adults use the facilities in woodworking classes offered through the TUHSD Community Education Program.
